Do You Believe Pets Can Sense Your Sickness? We all agree that pets cheer us up when we're feeling sad, but can they also tell when we're ill?! Beamish, this Rottweiler, did just that when his increased attention to a mole convinced Chris Tuffrey to get it checked out. The pooch kept nuzzling, licking, and trying to lift his owner's arm and it turns out the mole was a melanoma .

To the Rescue: Two Bathing Alternatives For Kitty Allergy Relief I've definitely heard conflicting advice when it comes to dealing with cat allergies. While some recommend washing a pet to reduce the amount of allergens released into the air, others say that bathing will cause her to lick herself more . .

Do Tell: Do You Own Any Breed Tchotchkes? I don't consider myself to be an impulse buyer, but when wrapping up a business trip in Florida a couple years back, I spotted a whole kennel full of dog figurines at a gas station. This lil guy cost $6 and I couldn't resist!Even though his ears are rounder than I like to see in my dog's breed – the shop's version of a Frenchie was super chubby! – it totally made me giggle.

Put a Dog (or Cat) On Your Wall With Blik Decals I enjoy incorporating a love of animals into my decor and these cute pups can be added to my household with nary a scratchmark. The sweet decals can find a happy home on walls, windows, floors (any surface really) and won't make your actual pets jealous. Each set supplies a varying number of decals based on the breed – and comes with its own story.

Combat Unwanted Pet Hair With a Fur Fighter I've just added a new product to my cleaning arsenal – this Fur Fighter! I already have a lint brush for my clothes, but this tool's shape is perfect for the quick cleaning of my couch (if I don't want to dig out the Dyson, that is). Want to know what prompted me to pick one up for 10 bucks on a recent trip to Target?

Got Fed? Find Out With This! If North could talk, every time someone asked him if he was hungry, he'd yip yes. Problem is, I don't want an overweight pooch. If you've got multiple people in your family, it's possible your Sig-O, children, or even the dog walker could be swayed by that fake famished face.

I've heard that when necessity strikes ordinary people can suddenly perform superhuman strengths. Such is the case with an Islamorada, FL man who decided to take on a shark, beating its head to get the animal to release his prized pooch, Jake, from the jaws of death. The five-foot-long creature already had almost the entire 14-pound Rat Terrier in its mouth .
