It's been said that many women
marry men like their dads, but a new study reported by the
BBC provides evidence that women actually do choose partners that have a resemblance to their fathers, and vice versa, specifically in relation to facial features and structure.
The phenomenon of determining an adult mate based on learned traits in childhood is referred to as
sexual imprinting and has long been studied. But what makes this particular article interesting is that it reveals that this occurrence is based on a personal bond with a parent rather than a genetic connection to them.

Often, there’s a social stigma attached to men who cry. But of course, men get sad, too, and sometimes that sadness is reflected in tears. I mean, they’re only human.

If computers are the
new way to meet people, then texting is the new flirting. Now, instead of sending flowers, guys can just send a text. And instead of calling you between dates to check in, all they have to do is send a teaser via mobile.

One of my favorite things to do on a girls' night out is head to a bar for some dancing. My friends and I have been having dance parties since college and I can only hope we’ll be having them when we’re little old ladies, too. But the problem is, every time we go out, the guys just won’t back off.

While British men have been
experimenting with makeup lately – cue the launch of guyliner and manscara – it seems in Europe men are getting back to basics with their skincare.
While your opinions are divided about
whether you like makeup on men, or not, it goes without saying that we'd all like our men to have good skin.
But, somewhat surprisingly, it's German men, in particular, who are addicted to their lotions and potions.

The great thing about a sexual fantasy is that it can be whatever we want it to be. The problem is that if a fantasy isn't in the realm of reality, it can be hard to act on, which is why many of our wild, crazy, whimsical, or just impossible ideas end up staying in the realm of make believe. And that's OK, but what I want to know is: Do you know what your man's number one fantasy is.

Singer-songwriter, producer, actor and all-round crush – Justin Timberlake, has a new gig. The smouldering pin-up is the face of
Givenchy's new line of men's fragrances – Play.
The Play range, which includes eau de toilette in the signature scent, and a more heady, musky version, entitled Play Intense, launches on 1st September.

With most couples I know, the woman usually has a big say when it comes to the man's
wardrobe. While this certainly isn’t true for everyone, it’s not surprising that many women in
long-term relationships actually do most of the shopping for the man. Though I do know many men with serious fashion sense, I know even more guys who would gladly wear the same tennis shoes and worn out T-shirt for 20 years if they could.

With the recent launch of
Guyliner,– a black eyeliner specifically for men – not to mention celebs like
Russell Brand, The Horrors, (pictured), Pete Doherty and Robbie Williams, wearing black eyeliner – the
makeup look for men has gone stellar.
I'm all for experimentation where makeup is concerned, whether you're a girl or a guy. Although, personally I have a good/bad list for what I consider attractive on men.

Boys in bands and indie men have been stealing our black eyeliners and smudgy kohl pencils for a while now – whether they're heading to a festival or just hanging out in Camden. The voice of middle England, aka
The Telegraph, may be expressing subdued shock at the new 'guy-liner, man-scara' trend, but edgy London boys have been rocking the makeup look for the past few seasons.
British bad boy, Russell Brand is often
photographed in eye makeup, although he covered up in dark glasses, for
a night out at Boujis, last night.
