For the most popular travel holiday of the year, Thanksgiving finds many of us stressed out in airports or on long road trips. But just because you're stuck in a car doesn't mean you should completely neglect your body. I have a few easy car exercises so you can work your body while still focusing on the road.

Since many of us travel home the weekend before Thanksgiving, I wanted to offer this word of caution. Even though this holiday is centered around warm, scrumptious food, and an incredible bounty of desserts, remember to keep the feasting to one day. Ditching your diet and splurging for the holidays is encouraged in my book, but remember that each holiday only lasts a day or two.

I have always found that when November rolls around, I lose a little of my fitness steam. The combination of the daylight saving time change, the holidays, and the first sneezes of cold and flu season just seem to zap my energy and eat up my free time. In this season of giving thanks and just plain giving, it is difficult to put myself and my workout first.
