Brad Pitt's been spotted on many a magazine cover for his
latest movies and tabloid-
famous family, but now the star graces the cover of the January issue of Architectural Digest. The star with a passion for architecture who's
contributed eco designs for Dubai and worked with
Global Green on affordable housing is making the leap to the shelter magazine world. Pitt shares the cover with one of the 150 eco-friendly homes in New Orleans that he is helping to sponsor and build through his
Make It Right Foundation.

For those of you who have been searching high and low for a fabulous
Christmas gift to suit your eco-conscious friends, look no further. I've gathered some of my favourite (mostly) natural and earth-friendly beauty products for you to peruse.
One brand that I want to tell you about in particular is
NveyEco Organic Makeup (pronounced na-vay).

Thanks to relatively cheap prices, wireless Internet on board, and an increase in service-frequency,
more Americans are hopping on the bus, rather than traveling by plane or car. Over the past year, intercity bus travel (think Greyhound) has increased by 9.8 percent, a growth rate higher than anything seen in the past 40 years.
Considering driving a car rules out multitasking, and flying includes long security lines, taking the bus doesn't seem so bad!

While I'm a fan of reusable bottles made by
Sigg,
Klean Kanteen, and
Nalgene, they all requite two hands to open them, which can be annoying at times. If you can relate, then check out the
Intak BPA Free Hydration Bottle with Meter ($11) made by Thermos.
To see how it works .

Earlier this month, I was pleasantly surprised to hear about the opening of
the world's first all-organic bar. So when I learned of
Loft Liqueurs, the first USDA certified
organic liqueur, I had to find out what all the hype was about.
Created by two best friends and San Francisco hospitality veterans to save people from "the bright neon color of your average apple martini," the
limoncello-inspired spirits are at the forefront of sustainability and eco-consciousness.

Recently, I was inspired by a Popular Mechanics article that cleared up a lot of the misinformation around recycling. Think you can spot the facts from the fiction? Then take my quiz!

I can't wait to tell
lilsugar about my latest website find! In a nutshell,
Hand-Me-Downs is a
Craigslist for moms where you can buy, sell, give away or donate your "gently used" toys, clothes, car seats, etc. It's shopping (and recycling) made easy for busy moms who not only need new items, but would like to donate or sell them.

Funny, just yesterday, when I was preparing to speak on a panel about sustainable fashion, I was talking about how Target should do
an eco line. The fashion gods were listening because I woke up to the news that designer Gregory Rogan
is once again teaming up with Target and this time with his
Loomstate line.
Launching just before Earth Day, April 19 to be exact, Loomstate for Target line will offer environmentally friendly goods for women and men.

At a time of soaring energy bills, sky high mortgage re-payments and general economising, it’s time to invest in products that give genuine value for money. The revolutionary new Eco Dry from
BaByliss (£19) is not only kind to the environment, it’s also good for your pocket too!
The
Eco Dry uses half the energy of a standard 2000W hairdryer, whilst drying your hair just as fast — saving electricity and therefore saving you money on your electricity bill.
