I’m an observer by nature, but that's not to say I suddenly become shy in a group setting. In fact, I'm happy to be the leader of the pack now and then. Even so, the idea of having all eyes on me does send a shiver down my spine and get my heart racing.

Dear Sugar,
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. Most of that year has been spent in petty arguments that I have created. I love him very much and we are great together when we aren't fighting.

Do you spend an hour in the bathroom before your boyfriend takes you out only to have him not notice your new hair style or your new outfit? Do you wish he was more attentive when you have a bad day or just need him to tell you he loves you? If so, you're not alone.
I know I can be
a baby from time to time. I have even been known to throw myself a pity party once or twice before, demanding a little extra TLC from my friends and family right before - say a trip to the dentist - even though it ends up drawing more attention to the inevitable. There is something comforting about having that little extra attention from the ones you love, so ladies, do tell, when do you need the most attention from your boyfriend, your friends, or your family?

When it comes to work or school, we all have projects, assignments, reports and deadlines to deal with. We have things to type, research to make, books to read, and emails to write.
Some of us can stay focused and get through a to do list even when there are people chatting, music blaring, food being passed around, or sirens outside - (like me).

Adult
ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) are conditions that have to do with the way you think. Unfortunately, they can seriously affect adults when it comes to their job, relationships, and their finances. It's true that they have to do with not being able to concentrate, but there's a lot more to it.

When you're doing yoga, it's really important to be aware of your body, and to be conscious of your movements. Bringing your attention inward is a big part of the yoga practice. If your mind is wandering, or something distracts you, you could get careless with your actions, and end up getting injured.
