While the majority
'fessed up to leaving music on for pets, would you ever do the same thing with TV. My pooch seldom notices the television (he'll occasionally perk up if there's a bark coming off the small screen), but never glances at the set.Just 'cause North doesn't share my love for
Gossip Girl won't stop me from being captivated nor do I expect him to sit fingers paws crossed for
Chloe to make her debut this season, but what happens when you're tuned in to your fave show: Do your furry friends watch you, watch it, or use this time to get into mischief in the next room.

I already shared my first fave –
antibacterial hand gel – but I also couldn't survive life with
North without a lint brush or
Tide-to-go minis. He doesn't get his muddy paws on me that often, but I have quite the obsession with keeping a stain-removing pen in my purses, desk, car . .

Wow, North and I had such a relaxing
Labor Day – an extra long stroll ending with a frolic at our favorite beach. What are your favorite activities to do with your furry friends, indoors and out, on your time off. Share how you spent yesterday (or any days off this

Remember that
poll to help America pick a pooch for Barack Obama. Although
rescuing is usually a good option, his daughters suffer from allergies, meaning a hypoallergenic dog would do best in this home. Timed to coincide with his
acceptance of the Democratic Party nomination, the AKC's released the results: a Poodle.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of enjoying a quintessential Summer activity: swimming in a lake. I’m not going to lie; at first I was only brave enough to dip my big toe in, but after hanging out in the sun for a while, I finally took the plunge — and it was fun. The best part about being in the water was that it reminded me of how much I loved to swim as a kid, not for the health benefits, but just because of the sheer joy of being in water.
I have some overly generous friends, but I also have a few stingy friends — stingy with their time, their money, their food, you name it, they're stingy with it. While I understand the importance of keeping some things sacred, being stingy isn't the best attribute if you ask me. So do you have any stingy friends who take their selfishness to a whole other level.

One of my favorite things to do on a girls' night out is head to a bar for some dancing. My friends and I have been having dance parties since college and I can only hope we’ll be having them when we’re little old ladies, too. But the problem is, every time we go out, the guys just won’t back off.

This scenario is ever present on TV, (LC, Lo, and Audrina for instance) but having to pick sides between friends is not a far stretch from reality. It's inevitable that friends fight, they may even have to
break up, but when you're an innocent bystander, you often times suffer as well. If you've ever been in this situation, you know how it feels to be pulled in different directions and how difficult it can be to remain neutral.

Last night I was catching up with a girlfriend and our conversation went straight to her date from the previous week. They went out on Thursday night, had a great time, and kissed goodnight, but as of Monday, she still hadn't heard from him. After lamenting for a while, the inevitable question was asked: why didn't he call.

Last Saturday was the
Dog Days of Summer event for the San Francisco Giants. Once a year, the team invites people (and their pooches!) to enjoy a baseball game at AT&T Park. Sadly North and I couldn't make it this time, but next year, I'm buying my tix early.
