New Clues to the Identity of Atlanta Housewife's Sugar Daddy

For anyone who has been following Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, you've probably heard Kim refer to her boyfriend/sugar daddy as "Big Poppa." So far we know that he has a lot of cash, connections and supplies Kim with a constant influx of cash and gifts. Celebrity gossip blog, YBF reported a few clues about the identity of Big Poppa. Take it for what it is, it's just gossip but here's what YBF published:

We’ve learned some interesting new details about “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” co-star Kim Zolciak’s “Big Poppa.” She’s been keeping who her mystery sugar daddy a secret on the show. But one of the stylists used by the ladies for the show (yes, this “reality show” has stylists) dishes to TheYBF.com that Big Poppa isn’t the type of man we’re thinking he is. He is a celebrity like Kim said, but he’s not in the entertainment business. He’s a married celebrity in the business world and is on par to become a billionaire soon. Oh, and she has more than 1 Big Poppa. Foolery!

Said stylist who has spent numerous hours with Kim and Big Poppa dishes this: Big Poppa is a middle eastern guy (it is believed he is from Turkey). He hangs with tons of the celebs in ATL. Jeezy, TI, Dallas Austin, just to name a few. He’s in his mid-50’s. His house was featured in the Fat Joe and Nelly video “Get it Poppin. And this dude has been giving Kim hundreds of thousands of dollars…just because. I told y’all the Jump Off profession was somethin’ serious in the ‘08.

And here’s another juicy tidbit: We’re told this mystery Big Poppa can actually be seen on an upcoming episode, but of course, he will not be revealed as such. He will appear on an the episode where Kim meets with Dallas Austin about her music career. Scandal!

I’m told he’s a really cool guy, but the fact that he’s MARRIED with a family prevents said stylist from revealing his full name to me. Apparently he could lose a lot if this situation is fully revealed. I’m also told Kim has not 1, but 2 Big Poppas! But there is one in particular who is her main sugar daddy, and that’s the one we need to find out about. A few names have been tossed around on other sites, but we’re going to hold off on mentioning those until we uncover the whole shebang. “Lose a lot” my ass. Looks like somebody should have thought of that before they started tricking to Kim. Despite popular belief…it IS tricking even when you got it.

Atlanta Housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell Once Married to R&B Crooner Keith Sweat??

Anyone remember R&B singer Keith Sweat? He had several major hits in the 80s and 90s including, "Make It Last Forever" in 1987 and "I'll Give All My Love to You" in 1990. Well a few minutes ago, one of my friends passed along this little tidbit that Sweat and Lisa from the most recent 'Housewives' edition were once married.

According to a blog site that I read, he refused to sign a waiver that would allow her to let their two kids appear on the show. It looks like he was worried about the way the show would edit her life saying it would make her look "crazy."

Lisa seems one of the most "normal" of the bunch, so why would he think they would make her look bad? There's obviously a little more to her story than we know. I guess we'll have to continue to watch.

In an interview with Essence.com, housewife Kim Z revealed that she and Big Poppa are officially over! Maybe no one will ever find out the true identity of this mystery man. Now that Kim and Big Poppa have split, how is Kim going to keep up that lavish lifestyle? Can someone tell me what Kim really does for a living? I'd really like to know....

True Blood Episode 9 Tonight! (HUGE Spoilers)

Tonight’s episode is called, Plaisir D’Amour and from what I gather from a few peeps it departs a bit from the book, so this should be good or it could be bad. We shall see I guess. Here’s the skinny: Bill steps in on Sookie’s behalf when Longshadow attacks her, but he crosses a dangerous line in the process. Eric seizes the opportunity to snare him in some tricky negotiations, while Tara does some dickering of her own over the cost of exorcising another demon. Jason, as usual, manages to end up in worse shape than anyone: He’s made the drastic blunder of holding a vampire prisoner in his basement.

Poor stupid hot Jason, he is truly an idiot. Anyone else want to lock him in her (or his) basement for use later? Too far? Check out the preview below, serious spoiler for tonight so beware.

This video accompanies the How Obama Got Elected website for an upcoming documentary. In addition to obviously wishing to portray a political ignorance among many Obama supporters, it purports to show the media's impact on this presidential election.

While I did cringe throughout this video and frequently wished to crawl under my coffee table and curl up in the fetal position, I think it has to be remembered that this is part of a documentary, and those definitely aren't unbiased. So, while I'm amazed, disturbed, and saddened that twelve seemingly sane, educated voters would fail to correctly answer so many of the questions, it certainly isn't the whole story. I would like to see a comparable polling done with McCain supporters. And Barr supporters... And Paul supporters... And on and on.

Here are the overall poll stats from the site:

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing).

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing).

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing).

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing).

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet...

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes.

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter.

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey.)

Just when you thought the best footage was on TV, think again. According to Yahoo! TV, Kim and Lisa got into a huge fight and now Kim has a restraining order against Lisa. Yahoo! Kim and her lawyer also spoke to TMZ to discuss the situation where she plays one of the "threats" from Lisa on camera for the public to hear. In my opinion, her lawyer looks a bit sketchy. But check it out for yourself:

Just to be fair though, Lisa denies the allegations in an article on Essence.com. According to Lisa, her reason for leaving the “threatening” voicemails for Kim was because she wanted to address Kim’s insults calling Lisa a "crack wh*re" on the set of a film that the housewives were asked to star as extras. Is Kim really playing with a full deck? Not sure who’s playing with all their cards.

Sen. Barack Obama's Democratic allies in Congress are looking into a radical new plan that would fundamentally change the way Americans save for retirement. House Democrats recently heard testimony on the idea and, under a potential Obama administration, would likely move to put it in place. Democrats want to seize the money that workers currently invest in their 401(k) plans and replace the popular retirement savings accounts with a one-size-fits-all government sponsored retirement account. Under the scheme, Americans would be forced to transfer all of their hard earned retirement savings from their 401(k) to the government.

The government would contribute $600 a year to fund each account and would pay a rate of return of around three percent in interest. The government would also mandate that each worker contribute 5% of their yearly salary to the accounts. Under current law, workers with 401(k) plans contribute to their retirement accounts and earn interest tax free. The Democrats' plan would end those tax breaks, amounting to as much as a 15% tax hike on each American worker.

Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) said recently that Democrats had better ideas for the $80 billion that Americans contribute to their 401(k) plans each year. "We have to start thinking about whether or not we want to continue to invest that $80 billion for a policy that's not doing what we say it should." Sen. Obama would likely sign on to the plan as president.

Obama, McDermott, and Congressional Democrats miss the point that under current law, Americans have control over their retirement savings, where and how it is invested, and when and how much they contribute. The idea to nationalize retirement savings is another example of Democrats' socialist proclivities. They want control of Americans' retirement to reside in Washington DC, not on Main St., all in the name of "retirement security."
