Music has the ability to act as the soundtrack of your life. Music helps you get through the good times and the bad, all the while telling a story you can relate to no matter what your mood.

Since your wedding is a day you will want to remember for the rest of your life, the song you choose for your first dance will be one that you will never forget. So ladies, do tell, what was or will be your wedding song?

we danced to "everything i do" by bryan adams...i picked it because i wanted one that i knew our band could sing, but they ended up just playing the CD, so i was kind of irritated. if i knew they were going to do that, i would have picked a different song. oh well!

Lonstar's song Amazed was our song too. We got married in 99, and the song was playing when we shared our first kiss earlier that year. It's still the ring tone when he calls me. I can't hear that song without remembering those steamy kisses we shared when we were stranded on the roadside during an early spring blizzard.

"Love of my Life" by Jim Brickman. My husband dedicated it to me in the car once and told me it made him think of me. So we used it!

We didn't have dancing at our reception (we were broke and could only afford a smaller reception with coffee and wedding cake), but we exited the church to "The One I Love" by David Gray...totally untraditional but perfect!

I'm not married, but the bf and I were just talking about that at a wedding the other day...I'm thinking All I Want is You by U2, because it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. I'll have to run it by him.

This only applies if it's my bf that i marry:

"Heart of Gold" by Neil Young or "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd. I know it's totally untraditional, but those two songs are ALWAYS on the radio when we're cuddling or in the car. Smiling

I remember someone mentioning "So this is Love" from Cinderella. I thought that would be a cool wedding song.

OMG lms, I used to love that song! I haven't heard it in a zillion years. That is a classic.

If I had married the guy I was engaged to, the song would have been "Over the rainbow/Wonderful World" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.

If I had married my last boyfriend it would have been "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake.

If I marry my current BF it will probably be "Such Great Heights" by Iron and Wine or "Shelter of your Eyes" by Don Williams.

    I love music.

I know this is completely untraditional and not even that famous but, if my boyfriend and i end up getting married, i really want "Is this Love" by Bob Marley. it completely describes our relationship, both for my bf and me.
especially the "we'll share the shelter of my single bed" part. hehe. nothing more romantic than being broke and in love, right? Eye-wink

Not remotely married, so I'm cheating, but I would like "The Way You Look Tonight". The "At Last" ladies picked a great song that lives forever too.

Iv'e always wanted By Your side by Sade, The One Who Loves You The Most by Brett Dennen, or Hold You in My Arms Forever by Ray Lamontagne.. And if I could find a version of Broken Road, I would love it. At my boyfriends sisters wedding, her hubby sang that song. it was really pretty!

We didn't dance to any song because we got married at city hall. But when we hopped in the car to go get married, "Here and Now" by Luther Vandross came on. So I guess that's it. Also, our song was Shania Twain's "You're Still The One".

I'm not married, but I've always wanted Love Song, the 311 version. Not very "traditional" and slow dance-y, but that's us!

We danced to "18th Floor Balcony" by Blue October. Its my favorite band and I took hubby to his first Blue concert(and now they are his favorite too) and when their new album came out he was the one that suggested that be our song for our first dance and it was perfect.
