I've made alot of mistakes in my past. So I hope like heck it isn't true. Everything I have done in my past has happened for the best though, even if it was rough getting through it.
I got divorced last November. My ex was mentally abusive and in the worst way...(It has taken me a long time to get emotionally stable and my self confidence back) But I treated him like a king. So I just hope that is all the punishment from my past that I get. Its all I can handle.

i have the same theory! when i was a freshman in college, i (knowingly) kissed a boy that had a girlfriend & then a few years later a boyfriend cheated on me... but i treated that boyfriend really well up until that point & so my next boyfriend treated me really well. totally kharma, good & bad. really, i think it's just that if you put out bad energy in life you'll get bad energy back, but if you put good energy into the universe you'll get good back into your life.

I believe it in some ways. When I was younger I had a hard time accepting things were over when they were over and ended up pestering the guy to death. I know, embarrassing!!! I cringe everytime I think about it. Now, years later, I broke it off with a guy months ago and now he won't leave me alone!! KARMA...it wasn't even a serious relationship! As far as a serious relationship, I better have some good karma coming because just like Joesbabygirl, I treated my ex like a king and he treated me like sh*t and it has taken me a long time to recover as well.

i believe in karma in all aspects of life and relationships are considered a big part of most people's lives, so yea

I don't believe that it's necessarily karma but I do think bad things happen to bad people because of the choices that they make.

i believe in relationship karma but i wouldnt live and breathe it.

i totally believe it. when i was younger i hooked up with a friend of mine who had a gf. and then a few years later my bf at the time cheated on me with that girl's best friend. he didn't know the whole connection at all either. it was just total karma biting me in the ass because i was a b*tch earlier in my life. and i was so in love with that bf too. so yes i totally believe in it and i've been on the receiving end of bad relationships since then so i hope my good karma is coming around!

i am a believer...not just in relationships and every day life. I think its just common courtesy not to do things to peopel you don't want done to you.

i completely 100% believe that this is true...the worse the infraction, the worse it comes back to you. but it is what makes us grow and learn and become stronger for the future.

I have the same theory, but I think it's for my own sanity after I had a couple of boyfriends who just really treated me badly in the end. So far though, I can't say I've really seen karma get to either of them.

I TOTALLY believe in any kind of karma, and ESPECIALLY relationship karma. All my boyfriends who cheated on me- I hope they got theirs But then again, I hope I don't get dumped like how i left my last boyfriend. Does it count that I felt bad and it was the worst ever? ugh.

I absolutely believe in karma - good and bad. I simply think if you do something bad to someone else it is inevitable you will feel the pain you inflicted on them... especially in relationships! that's why you have to find the person that doesn't seek pain and anger, but someone that lives life with a smile everyday

I believe in it because every little mistake I've made has come back to bite me in the butt a thousand-fold. However, I haven't known a single person have karma get them back. I've known people who just naturally have good luck, and others who have naturally bad luck, regardless of what kind of people they are and how they act.

I think my dad consistently has bad luck, despite being one of the sweetest, most compassionate, most loyal people I have ever even heard of. Then, there are people that are consistently unfaithful, and have doting partners.

I am a total believer of this and thought my love life would be doomed forever. At one point I began dating a man. A divorcee. By the time we hit the one month mark he let me know he was actually only separated and that the night he met me was the night his wife took their newborn and left him. I felt completely dirty and shattered that I was a part of that scenario. I was haunted for a few years by that and didn't date at all since I thought I was completely damaged goods that didn't deserve to be in love with anyone ever. I eventually came to terms that he was a prick for holding that information from me. However I avoided social relationships with potential suitors for a while since I felt my karma was only going to curse me.

all my past boyfriends didn't really take care of me (I always ended up taking care of them) and cheated on me and I was starting to think that maybe it's my fault or that I deserved it..
Then I met this wonderful guy who can't stop treating me like a queen and I just can't help but think that I went through all that to find out what I really wanted and needed in a relationship and I can appreciate him more..
oh, and by the way, we're now engaged!

Yes, I definitely believe in this. I wasn't the greatest when it came to relationships in high school - I was always dumping guys after two weeks and stuff. And, I pretty much got SCREWED OVER by my first college boyfriend who I actually really liked. But, I've totally changed my own relationship patterns so hopefully I will get good karma and bad ex will get badddd karma! LOL

Hell yeah I do. I'm pretty good in all of my relationships, honestely. And EVERY single single person that's wronged me in some way has got it back ten fold. One girl tried to spread a rumor and said I tried to f*ck her boyfriend [in reality...she broke up with him to f*ck some dude, and he kissed me]; and she lost all the friends she had. Heh heh. Sadly, I think I'm getting some karma though - I didn't forgive a friend for MONTHS after he did nothing but radiate negative energy, and now all of a sudden, my bestie changed her ways, and hasn't talked to me all summer. Weird!

I second Silverlining's thoughts on 'naturally good/bad luck' theory...Some people just happen to be at the right place at the right time, while others who work hard, put themselves out there and in return be ridiculed...

Look, karma / what you sow is what you reap - no matter which way you put it - I firmly believe that what you send out, you'll receive it back one way or the other - one day...

BTW - congrates Suyenyen! I know exactly what you mean about having self-doubts and taking on all the responsibilities...Looks like because of all the taking care of others that you've done, now karma has sent you someone to look after you!
