Would You Want Help From Your Ex?

If you liked The Real Housewives of Orange County, you can't miss the season premiere of Date My Ex tonight! Jo, who had a turmultuous on-and-off-again relationship with ex-fiance Slade, is now looking for love again with the help of her two close friends. . . . and her ex! While the concept sure does make for great TV, I don't see how this scenario could possibly work in real life. I mean who wants to help their ex find love with someone else? Sounds way too close for comfort if you ask me. We'll have to tune in to see if their experiment works, but in the meantime, tell me, have you ever been involved in your ex's love life? Would it be too hard to watch him move on right before your eyes?

i think i'd be okay with it if it was an ex from a long time ago, like a high school boyfriend or someone that i was wayyyy over. i definitely know i couldn't handle it with my most recent ex.

I think I'd love to do this! Me and my latest ex dated for four years and are very close still. I'd love nothing better than to help him find the woman of his dreams. He's a wonderful guy even if he isn't right for me. But he also has this handycap of being very shy, to the point that the only reason we dated was because I pursued him agressively. This kind of approach isn't likely to work out in his favor often, so I'd love the chance to hook him up with his dream girl!

The most recent ex - heck no. The one before that - I wouldn't mind. We're still friends.

Never. That is just messed-up to have your ex help you find a new bf.

I like the show "Real Housewives of Orange County" however I never liked Jo & Slade so obviously I will skip this show.

I'm still seeing my first boyfriend, but if we didn't work out, I don't think I could be mature enough to actively help find him a new girlfriend. I would wish him best, but that's as far as I would go!

I'm friends with all my exes, and I have him relationship advice and everything. Sadly, he's dating a new bimbo, and made out with her in front of me last week...

    On my bed.

With me right next to them.

And then they sang to each other.

    ...Never again, Puff...never again.

This is crazyness!..Although my first love, my ex from high school and I are still good friends, and I do give him advice about dating and such..but its cause we are friends, the other feelings are not there anymore..still I couldnt picture myself taking such an active role in hooking him up like in this show!

this is ridiculous, i mean, obviously they're doing it for show, and i'm sure their original relationship was also just for show, so whatever

but in my life, no thanks!

It's spelled "tumultuous", without an "r".

And I wouldn't ever, in a million years, have the cardiac fortitude to set my most recent ex up with someone else. I would be absolutely heartbroken to see it. Any ex's that came before him though, no problem at all. We're not friendly, but if they came asking it of me, I wouldn't have any issues with it whatsoever. They never had my heart in quite the same way, anyhow, just as I'm assuming Jo never really had Slade's heart.
