Mixing friends can sometimes be a lot of fun, but other times it can turn out disastrous. When you're the only common thread amongst different groups, one would think that because they like you, they'd like each other too, but that isn't always the case. Of course we want everyone to get along, but it my experience, sometimes it's just better to keep specific friends separate. Though I've matched some pretty good friendships, I've also failed miserably, which in turn created nothing but drama for myself. So ladies, in your experience, do you think mixing friends is a good idea or a bad idea?

I don't think it's always good or always bad, but within reason, it is worth a try. A lot of friendships are started by meeting through mutual friends. But this can cause issues when the new friends gang up on and/or ignore their introducer. You have to be prepared for the possibility that your friends could end up liking each other better than you!
