    I disagree with the last answer - I got 5 out of 6.
    The question said "typically". Sure, it's best to count out 9 days to be "safe" - but typically, it IS 5 days, and even for many women, 3-4 days.
    If you're using fertility awareness to avoid pregnancy, it IS safer to have 9 days with condoms (and even more until you're sure you're regular and can interpret the signs reliably enough)
