Has Technology Ruined Your Sex Life?

I'm a huge fan of all the technological advances that have been springing up in the last 10 years. Huge plasma TVs, laptops, wireless Internet, and iPhones are so much a part of our lives now, it's hard to shut them off. It's almost second nature to curl up in bed and watch funny videos on your laptop or check work email before bed, but I can tell you right now, technology isn't very romantic. In fact, technology has been known to strain relationships, so ladies, I have to ask — has technology affected your sex life?

My man always has a gadget in his hand. A phone, a computer, an iPod, a remote control. Sometimes I have to take it out of his hand and be like, "Hello?! Remember me?" It's an ongoing joke with us now.

My hubby is always on his laptop, but in his defense, it's usually work-related. At some point in the evening one of us will announce that it's time to put the laptops away so we can hang out. And we have a strict no-TV rule in the bedroom. We've never had one in there, and we never plan to, and I think it helps a lot.

    NO!
My bf knows betetr then to play his vids when I am home. SOMETIMES I et him, but he always asks first...he knows that we dont' get a lot of oppurtunities to do NOTHING together, so he understands that I hate when he geeks out when it's just us two home.

No phones, tv, computers or work-related stuff in the bedroom. It makes for a happy marriage Eye-wink

We have no techology in our bedroom, other than alarm clocks. No TV and our laptops don't ever make appearances. We both spend enough time working during the day. The idea of bringing into the bedroom is not appealing at all.

Not really. Sometimes we watch tv too late and end up falling asleep before we get busy but not newer technology.

No. We'll cuddle watching TV and my guy likes to have some TV show playing (on mute) when he goes to sleep, but neither of us is to addicted to something we can't put it down or use something so much is becomes problematic.

Kind of...we don't have any technology in the bedroom (it's our rule) but we did have more sex outside of the bedroom before my boy got caught up with his laptop and video games.

We used to have one desktop computer and now we each have laptops and i think it's definitely more of a disconnect.

I'm only 24 so the technology has pretty much been around my whole dating life, so I wouldn't know any different.
